My Experience Obtaining the English Certificate of CET-4 and CET-6
As a non-native speaker of English证件照换正装, I always knew that mastering this language would be essential for my academic and professional goals. Thus, after years of studying English in school and engaging in language exchange programs, I decided to take the College English Test (CET) in both level 4 and level 6. Here is my experience with the preparation and examination of these certificates.
Preparation
Before delving into exam preparation, I had to assess my level of English and the requirements of the test in order to set a realistic study plan. For CET-4, I realized that I needed to expand my vocabulary and improve my writing skills. Thus, I spent most of my preparation time reading various articles and memorizing new words and phrases. Additionally, I practiced writing essays that followed the required structure and adhered to the designated word count.
For CET-6, I had to focus on improving my listening and speaking skills, which are the main components of the test. To do so, I listened to podcasts, watched TV shows and movies with English subtitles, and engaged in conversations with native speakers as much as possible. I also took mock exams to simulate the real test environment and gauge my progress.
Examination
Both CET-4 and CET-6 were conducted in a similar way. The test consisted of four parts: listening, reading, writing, and translation. The listening and reading parts were multiple-choice questions with different levels of difficulty. The writing part required the examinee to write an essay based on a given prompt, while the translation part involved translating a passage from Chinese into English.
During the exam, I felt a sense of nervousness but also excitement. I knew that I had prepared as much as I could, yet I still had to be vigilant and focused on the questions. The listening part, in particular, proved to be challenging due to the speed and diversity of accents. Nonetheless, I remained calm and tried to process as much information as possible.
Results
After a few weeks of waiting, I finally received my scores for the CET-4 and CET-6 exams. I was thrilled to find out that I passed both of them, with a score of 572 for CET-4 and 556 for CET-6. While the scores were not perfect, I felt proud of myself for achieving my goal and improving my English skills.
Overall, obtaining the English Certificate of CET-4 and CET-6 was a challenging yet rewarding experience. It required dedication, patience证件照换正装, and continuous effort to improve my language abilities. I hope that my experience can inspire others to take on similar challenges and strive to reach their own goals.
